Christmas 2008

Okay, so you're wondering, "what to get the kids for Christmas?" We are taking the time to put together an online wish list, although, we strive to teach them, Christmas is the season for giving, not receiving. We are preparing for the holidays this year by reflecting on 2008 with thanks and sadness. God has blessed our family in so many ways, but we cannot hide from the pain of losing three dear family members. They each held special places in our lives and will forever be remember. Take time this Holiday Season to hug the ones you haven't hugged in awhile. No one is promised tomorrow.

Breast Cancer Walk - Fundraising Tips!

WOW!! We are already half way through June, which means I only two more months to raise $1000 for the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. They always say the best way to raise money is to, ask people, but I don't feel comfortable with that tactic.

So, I am wondering if you have any fundraising ideas. I have thought about doing a car show, but won't know where to start with that. A friend of mine suggested selling Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. Also, another good idea was to have a yard sale.

I wonder what other people do... so let me hear it.
